6 innovative startups took part in the finals of Asia’s biggest alternative protein pitching and cooking competition, the Big Idea Food Competition. Spanning 6 countries across Asia, where individual competitions were held over the course of a year, the competition finally culminated in Singapore where we crowned our winner!
Each company showcased immense talent, entrepreneurship and a passion to develop sustainable food solutions. Here are the winners:

🥈 WEMEET from South Korea – Creates a new standard of meat for tomorrow by making mushroom based meat alternatives.
🥉 Plant Origin from Thailand – They specialize in extracting proteins from rice bran.
The competition brought together corporates, food leaders, experts and investors all working to solve one of the world’s biggest challenges. Together we can build food and agri-tech solutions that help create a more sustainable and equitable future!
