Lab Grown Meat could be the answer to all of our problems: Animals will not need to be slaughtered for consumption, a few million cows globally would be enough to give humanity and infinite supply of beef forever meaning animals would not need to be kept in small confinements and forest would not need to be felled to accommodate this. However, at a price of $3,000/kg and lab grown meat being illegal in the EU are just some of the barriers to this ‘solution’.
